After a successful launch of my [**Alfred Custom Web Searches**](https://www.producthunt.com/posts/alfred-custom-web-searches/?ref=chrismessina.me) on Product Hunt, I’ve continued adding custom searches and creating icons to accompany them. In doing so, I realized that nearly all of the default web searches that come pre-installed with [Alfred](https://alfredapp.com/?ref=chrismessina.me) had ugly or outdated icons!

I mean, take a look!

This just wouldn’t do!

So I decided to go ahead and make custom icons for each of these, and then publish the custom searches to [my directory](https://alfred.pory.app/?ref=chrismessina.me).

Here’s what the new icons look like:

Much better, right?

You can grab these icons from here — and **they’re totally free**.

In the included README file, there’s also a handy list of install links for the default searches to make it easy to add replacement searches in Alfred. Everything you need to know is included.

You can send me request for icons directly or [fill out my form](https://airtable.com/shr4nD9GTdaB6o4OH?ref=chrismessina.me) if you’d like me to list your favorite custom web search!

## One more thing

I’ve decided to setup a [free, dedicated newsletter](http://alfredapp.substack.com/) for tips, tricks, and updates about how I use Alfred to spare you, my dear readers of *this* newsletter, from having to get all those updates if you’re not as avid an Alfred fan as I am.

You can sign up for that newsletter here:
