[Lloyd](http://www.foolswisdom.com/~lloyd/?ref=chrismessina.me)'s posted a [solution](http://www.foolswisdom.com/~lloyd/wordpress/index.php/delicious-tasty-again/?ref=chrismessina.me) to the [disappearing favorites bug](http://bugzilla.flock.com/show%5Fbug.cgi?id=2919&ref=chrismessina.me) I [reported on](http://factoryjoe.com/blog/2006/03/16/something-tastes-funny/?ref=chrismessina.me) last week. Apparently it was a change on del.icio.us's end that caused the problem. Notes from Lloyd:

> There are no negative effects to your favorites on del.icio.us. Unfortunately, the nature of this del.icio.us service bug, requires your manual correction. **Manual Correction**Shutdown FlockGo into your [profile folder](http://wiki.flock.com/index.php?title=FAQ&ref=chrismessina.me#Where%5Fdoes%5FFlock%5Fstore%5Fmy%5Ffiles.3F)Delete files: `flock_fq_default_in.rdf` and `flock_fq_default_out.rdf`Restart Flock

In other news, del.icio.us has finally added [privacy to favorites](http://blog.del.icio.us/blog/2006/03/private%5Fsaving%5F.html?ref=chrismessina.me)! I know Joshua has his reservations about this feature and that it threatens the sharing focus of the community, but I actually would be willing to wager that more people are going start sharing now that they at least have the *option* to keep certain things private.

I think it's a great idea to leave an option to private favorites, incorrectly categorized as "anti-social". There are instances where you want that web site to be private. Having public and private favorites enriches the software. In my opinion, del.cio.us made a great decision, and in the process, made Flock a better blogging browser. I'm a happy user now, Omar.-
