[Richard Giles ](http://www.cliquecomm.com/blog/?ref=chrismessina.me)pointed me to [A Single Flower](http://www.asingleflower.com/?ref=chrismessina.me), a campaign started in Australia [launched this week](http://www.asingleflower.com/current/we-are-live-3.html?ref=chrismessina.me) with a simple, straight-forward [purpose](http://www.asingleflower.com/info/why.html?ref=chrismessina.me): "...on this day, you display a single flower to show the world that you are concerned about the needless death and violence that is taking place around us."
