I made [similar points a few months ago](http://factoryjoe.com/blog/2006/08/20/building-a-better-mouse-trap/?ref=chrismessina.me), back then about [Google's authentication apparatus](http://factoryjoe.com/blog/2006/08/22/follow-up-on-the-mousetrap/?ref=chrismessina.me). Now [Blake](http://www.blakeross.com/?ref=chrismessina.me) is suggesting that [a similar fiasco is unfolding with Google's new "Tips" feature](http://www.blakeross.com/2006/12/25/google-tips/?ref=chrismessina.me), calling it "a new kind of bundling".
