For panoramas, there's nothing better than [DoubleTake](http://echoone.com/doubletake/?ref=chrismessina.me) (now at [v2.0](http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16977?ref=chrismessina.me)). And for notes, it's all about [Journler](http://journler.phildow.net/?ref=chrismessina.me) (also at [v2.0](http://journler.phildow.net/2006/06/16/journler-20-available-for-download.html?ref=chrismessina.me)) (props to [Greg Elin](http://fotonotes.net/?ref=chrismessina.me) for the hookup).

How does DoubleTake compare with Calico? The last time I tried it, DoubleTake got confused by a shifting column of smoke in my panorama. Calico will handle anything that is landscape oriented. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29100

Well, it's much cheaper and I think the interface \*much\* better. Besides that, I guess it's personal preference...? And, I mean, you can reorg the photos yourself, which to me seems like much more control than Calico.
