[](http://www.flickr.com/photos/factoryjoe/285343768/?ref=chrismessina.me)[Guillermo Esteves](http://guillermoesteves.com/?ref=chrismessina.me) has notified me that [another site](http://www.last.fm/?ref=chrismessina.me) has [added microformats](http://www.last.fm/forum/21717/%5F/186878/%5F/2244419?ref=chrismessina.me) under the hood -- and, [just like Apple's dotMac Webmail](http://microformats.org/blog/2006/10/31/dotmac-webmail-implements-hcard/?ref=chrismessina.me), for [password-protected content](http://www.last.fm/dashboard/events?ref=chrismessina.me). They don't mention it, but this means that you can easily add [concert listings on Last.fm, complete with recommended gigs](http://www.last.fm/updates/?ref=chrismessina.me) [to your calendar](http://suda.co.uk/projects/X2V/?ref=chrismessina.me) [without breaking a sweat](http://feeds.technorati.com/events/?ref=chrismessina.me) (or a finger). They let you [add gigs](http://www.last.fm/event/add/?ref=chrismessina.me), but what's missing is the ability to point at an Upcoming, Eventful or Yahoo! Local URL and pull in the microformatted content to create a subscription to the existing event. Ya dig?

\[...\] That Chris Messina, always getting the scoops! Chris writes that lastfm now uses hCalendar for event details. \[...\]

Think it's such a cool feature - especially if you're listening to a lot of local music. Integration with these event services would be ideal. If you were able to use upcoming/eventful as a repository and suck the data back to Last.fm and other sites and services set up to do that. I've been trying to figure out if something like that is possible with Drupal.
