Looking it over (and as someone who [participated](http://www.flickr.com/photos/factoryjoe/sets/1025522/?ref=chrismessina.me) from afar some time ago) I have to say that I actually prefer [Steve Smith's](http://orderedlist.com/?ref=chrismessina.me) [WP Tiger Admin](http://orderedlist.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-tiger-administration/?ref=chrismessina.me). I use it on this blog and love it. There are a few glitches here and there, but for the most part it's a huge improvement over WordPress' old school default. In any case, it's great to see such major changes coming to WordPress -- I just hope that it maintains the original simplicity that makes [WordPress](http://wordpress.org/?ref=chrismessina.me) so widely successful.

\[...\] Based on Chris’s recommendation I’m giving wp tiger administration a try. It’s nice, certainly a lot cleaner and simpler to use than the base wordpress admin. \[...\]
