[](http://funnyfox.org/?ref=chrismessina.me)A while back a project was thunk up to do a viral video marketing campaign for Firefox. The original idea was something like MoveOn's [*Bush in Thirty Seconds*](http://www.bushin30seconds.org/?ref=chrismessina.me), but that idea was scrapped when it turned out MozEurope already had something setup with guerilla marketing firm Pozz. Well, it's finally [landed](http://news.zdnet.co.uk/software/applications/0,39020384,39198100,00.htm?ref=chrismessina.me) and I have to say, it's pretty damn [clever](http://funnyfox.org/theoffice.htm?ref=chrismessina.me). How do you spread a browser? Certainly not by showing it! Let people's reactions do the convincing. I mean, when was the last time you [ate a cell phone](http://funnyfox.org/themobile.htm?ref=chrismessina.me) by accident? *Egggzzactly.* P.S. And it appears to be getting quite a bit of [press in Europe](http://standblog.org/blog/2005/05/10/93114159-a-propos-de-funnyfoxorg?ref=chrismessina.me) and [around the web](http://slashdot.org/articles/05/05/12/151234.shtml?ref=chrismessina.me). Sweet. P.P.S. [SpreadFirefox](http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?ref=chrismessina.me) also apparently [hit 100,000 users](http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/008124.html?ref=chrismessina.me) but you wouldn't know it because of the weird changes they've been making to th design and content of the site. I think Robert Wiblin's got it right (third comment): "Now if only spreadfirefox.com actually did more things and kept itself updated it would be a really useful resource!" Patience... yes... patience.
