So after a [false start](http://www.lessig.org/blog/archives/002872.shtml?ref=chrismessina.me) at a [guerilla marketing campaign](http://www.lessig.org/blog/archives/002852.shtml?ref=chrismessina.me) to spread the Commons, [Creative Commons](http://creativecommons.org/?ref=chrismessina.me) seems to have bitten by the [Spread bug](http://www.corante.com/strange/archives/2005/05/05/creative%5Fcommons%5Fmake%5Ftheir%5Fdecision.php?ref=chrismessina.me). [This](http://wiki.creativecommons.org/wiki/SpreadCC?ref=chrismessina.me) is truly fantastic and something I couldn't have hoped for sooner. In fact, I really *really* want to get involved, but I'm biting my tongue for the moment since there are other [pressing projects](http://spreadopenoffice.org/?ref=chrismessina.me) at hand... and, frankly, the CC guys typically know what they're doing and well, I'm clearly already overstretched. What else is new? ...But *man*, talk about a project near and dear to my hear. If they do happen to be interested in any of my experiences with [SpreadFirefox](http://spreadfirefox.com/?ref=chrismessina.me), I'd be happy to share. Consider that an open invitation.
