Perhaps this is a sign of how busy we are, but in passing , I realize that, by comparison, I'm a bit of a scattered intellect. Anyway, I'd be curious to see what David Crow, Whurley and Kathy Sierra's workspaces look like...

I now work in a vintage travel trailer parked next to the house... I work mainly at the dinette: http://headrush.typepad.com/creating_passionate_users/2006/10/post.html But it has never looked quite as non-messy as it did the day I took the pictures ; ) (The other thing missing from the photo is my 21" monitor.) I keep books and magazines in the house, and I'm forcing myself to be disciplined about taking just what I need that day from the house to the trailer, and bringing it back at night. Given more room, I am an organizational DISASTER (your desk is pristine compared to what my 'default' mode is, so being constrained like this has been GREAT for me! Before this, I had a huge table in my home office and the only time I'd finally declutter was when I could no longer find my keyboard. What's that next to the wall on your desks... is that a whiteboard?
